We have dinner reservations in EPCOT but will be spending the day in Animal Kingdom. Are there busses that will take us to EPCOT directly from AK, or do we need to take a bus to a resort and transfer ?

Hi Linda! Thanks for stopping by to see us again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Sounds like you have quite a day planned. I love having a dinner reservation in Epcot to wrap up the day with a fabulous meal and then catching Illuminations: Reflections of Earth after dinner!

You can indeed take complimentary bus transportation between Disney's Animal Kingdom Park and Epcot. Just be sure you have the Park Hopper Option on your tickets, and give yourself plenty of time to catch the bus and make your reservation. The official recommendation from Disney is 90 minutes. You should at least allow about 20 minutes for your bus to arrive, then about a 10-15 minute travel time between parks and a little extra for security check, park entry and walking to your restaurant.

I hope this helps you enjoy your Disney day, Linda. Please visit again if you have any more questions. Wishing you a magical Walt Disney World vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
