Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Chris. We're delighted to see you! And, of course, we're so happy to hear you're planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort this holiday season. You're sure to have a holly jolly time!
Magic Kingdom Park is always magical, but exceptionally so when it's decked out in its holiday best. As soon as you turn onto Main Street, U.S.A. you'll feel that Christmas spirit! You ask an excellent question about your visit to Magic Kingdom Park. If the park closes at 6:00 PM and you do not have event tickets for Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party that evening, you won't be able to keep your 6:45 PM reservation at
The Crystal Palace. I know that's not the answer you were hoping to hear, but not to fret! I recommend trying to modify your reservation time to be earlier than 6:00 PM. As long as you can book a reservation before that time, you can stay to enjoy your dinner even after the park has officially closed to day Guests. When your dining experience is over, you'll simply be escorted to the exit of the park. If you're unable to secure a dining reservation before 6:00 PM at The Crystal Palace, you may want to consider dining at one of the incredible restaurants on the "monorail line" like
Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort,
'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, or
1900 Park Fare at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
