Hi Lacey! Welcome back to planDisney - we're so excited to have you here again. Your name always brings a smile to our faces, and we're grateful you've given us the chance to help plan your upcoming trip.
I see you are about to embark on one more magical adventure at
The Most Magical Place on Earth. Before we get into the details of dining reservations and fireworks, let me tell you about my experience. During the first night of the
Happily Ever After fireworks show, I decided to grab some popcorn quickly before the show started. My wife and kids stayed in front of Cinderella Castle, but unfortunately, due to the heavy crowd around the Main Hub, I had a hard time getting back to them. I ended up missing the first ten minutes of the show!
Rather than changing your reservation, I recommend heading over to
The Crystal Palace area as soon as possible. Take some time to explore the
Emporium while you're there. I suggest sticking around the area instead of crossing Main Street, U.S.A. Just take a casual stroll and enjoy the sights. When it's time for your reservation, arrive 20 minutes early to check in, get comfy, and appreciate the show while dining in a fancy Victorian-style setting.
Based on my experience of wandering around during the nighttime spectaculars, I wanted to let you know that even after the show starts, the crowds don't disperse. Many people are still moving around, trying to get into different areas and attractions during the fireworks display. So, I just wanted to give you a heads-up that changing your reservation time to coincide with the show won't necessarily guarantee that you'll get there in time.
Lacey, I hope you have a happily ever time at Magic Kingdom, and I wish we can see you again, so
please come back with more questions anytime.
Cheers
Nilson
