Hi, i have dinner reservations at Coral Reef on May 7 at 8pm. Am I going to miss the Illuminations show at 9? Can i see it from the restaurant or should i try and get an earlier reservation? Please help!

Hi Clarissa!  The chances of you making it over to the World Showcase Lagoon and catching the Illuminations show after an 8 pm dinner reservation at Coral Reef are pretty slim.  You should assume that your sit-down meals at WDW will take at least an hour, sometimes a little more.  On top of that, you will have a bit of a trek to make it from the Coral Reef restaurant over to the World Showcase.  You'll also want to allow the time to find a great viewing area from which to enjoy the show.

If this night is your only opportunity to see Illuminations I would suggest changing your reservation to an earlier time.  A reservation closer to 7 pm would give you more time to enjoy a relaxed meal before heading out to catch the show.

    Hope that helps!
