Hi! We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey's on 12/17. Can we watch the Holiday Wishes fireworks from the 4th floor observation deck of the Contemporary even though we aren't guests there? (We're staying at All-Star Sports.) Thanks!!

    Hello, Kathy!

Chef Mickey's is my favorite character dining experience! I love being able to share a meal with Mickey Mouse and his friends dressed in their chef attire. Yes, you are welcome to explore Disney's Contemporary Resort without staying at the hotel. My family always stops at the 4th-floor observation area to take a few photos with the Magic Kingdom in the background. This observation area will give you a great view of Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season fireworks typically only seen on Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party nights. Keep in mind that the observation area has limited seating, so you may want to arrive early to find the best viewing spot for your family. Not only will you be able to get a great view of the perimeter fireworks, you will also have a unique look at the monorails as they enter and exit the Contemporary Resort right above you.

I hope you enjoy your meal at Chef Mickey's and have a magical time viewing this special fireworks display! Please let us know if we can answer other questions you may have as you continue to plan your December visit.
