    We have dinner reservations at chef mickey for 6:50pm and we are staying at the boardwalk, we arrive at 3 that day...what is the fastest way to get to dinner or should i try to change the time of the reservation. I love this panel its so helpful. 

    Hi Cynthia.    My family and I stayed at the Boardwalk recently and took the same trip over to the Contemporary Resort for our Chef Mickey reservation.    From the Boardwalk, you should take the Disney bus to the Magic Kingdom.   From here you can transfer to the monorail (specifically the Resort monorail) which will take you quickly over to the Contemporary.

     

    I recall our trip took approximately 45 minutes.  In order to make sure, I recommend planning on leaving one-hour in advance.   You indicate you are arriving at 3:00 that day.   I assume that is your flight's arrival time.   Assuming your are not delayed, the 6:50 reservation should be OK.   However, if you want to leave yourself some breathing room should there be any delays, you may wish to move back your reservation a bit.    I am typically cautious with my reservations, always leaving extra time in case of any unforseen issues.    Enjoy your trip!
