    Hi. We have dinner reservations at Chef Mickey at 5:10. We plan to visit Downtown Disney that afternoon. How much time will we need to get from Downtown Disney to Chef Mickey and what will be the best way to travel? We have a car. Thanks for your help

    Hi Carol,

    Chef Mickeys is a fantastic choice of restaurant! My family like to eat here at least once during every visit - it is so much fun!

    If you decide to drive to Downtown Disney, it will take you approximately 20-25 minutes to drive directly from there to Disney's Contemporary Resort.

    If you choose to use Disney's complimentary transportation you would need to catch a bus from Downtown Disney to the Contemporary Resort. The time spent travelling would be the same as the driving time (20-25 minutes) but you would also need to make an allowance for time spent waiting for the next bus to arrive. When using Disney's complimentary transportation, I always suggest that you allow 1 hour in total for the journey.
