We have dinner reservations at Cape May and Chef Mickey that are buffet. We have children ages 3 & 5 in the party, can they choose anything from the buffet or are the limited to children's items?

Hi Susan! You have chosen some great dining spots to hit during your upcoming Disney vacation. Cape May Cafe offers a New England type themed Clam Bake for dinner with all the typical trimmings while Chef Mickey's offers more continental cuisine and adding the best character meet and greet on property.

Yes, both are indeed buffets giving your much to choose from. There are children's areas where the kiddos can find the chicken fingers and macaroni and cheese etc. But you will find many adults picking up some choices there as well as the children moving on down the line to pick up some of the offerings in the "adult" area. All of the Disney dining buffets are open for all guests to pick and choose from whatever it is that appeals to them. This doesn't matter if you are a child or adult. Because of this the buffets are often really popular with families whose children are more picky or are hearty eaters. Hope your entire family enjoys your dining and all the other magic of Disney during your vacation!
