Hi there, Janice, and welcome to planDisney!
One of my favorite meals that I’ve ever had at Walt Disney World was at
California Grill. You will not regret taking in the sights and sounds of the Magic Kingdom Park fireworks atop the 15th floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It’s honestly one of the best views of the nighttime spectacular—and the show music is piped into the building as well, which is extra special.
Your advance dining reservation time of 7:10 p.m. for a 8 p.m. showing of
Happily Ever After is practically perfect. Take your time with your three-course meal. Then, right before the show begins, either walk outside to one of the balconies (many others will do the same) or watch the fireworks table-side if you have a window seat.
AN EXTRA GEM: If you venture outside, I recommend that you bring a light jacket because it can get a bit chilly up there, especially in November. Also, bring a tissue or two. Happily Ever After will pull at your heart strings, so be prepared!
Janice, thanks again for stopping by with your question. I hope that you have an amazing evening under the stars. If you have any other Disney vacation planning questions,

Magic always,
LeAndra
