Hi Kalley. Thank you for bringing your question to us here at planDisney.
You are in for
such a treat when dining at
Be Our Guest Restaurant in
Magic Kingdom Park. I've eaten there numerous times and it's always a standout. The ambiance, the food, the Beast walking around the restaurant occasionally...you just can't get better than that. While
The Little Mermaid has always been my favorite Disney animated film,
Beauty and the Beast is definitely a close second. Did you know that the snow falling outside the windows of the Grand Ballroom in the restaurant comes from the original animation used for the movie? Such a cool detail! As far as the food goes, the
menu is outstanding. I
love the French Onion Soup and everyone raves about the Center-Cut Filet Mignon (I eat mostly vegetarian so I can't vouch for it, but it really is a hit with most Guests).
To answer your question, you can see the fireworks on the bridge outside of Be Our Guest Restaurant. However, you will not be able to view the projections and lighting effects on the castle as you will technically be behind the castle. You also may miss some of the lower fireworks. If that's okay with you, you will get a very unique view of the fireworks with a lot fewer crowds. I have walked around Fantasyland before while the fireworks were going off and it was actually quite magical. There weren't many people and the fireworks illuminated the attractions in a way that just added a little more whimsy to the area.
If you would like the full fireworks experience, I would suggest checking to see if another reservation opens up at Be Our Guest Restaurant as your dining date gets closer. Many times people will change their plans, cancel their reservation or rearrange it, and then those reservations are opened up to others. If you can get an earlier reservation, you'll have more time to make your way to the front of the castle.
Kalley, no matter where you view the fireworks, you're bound to create some very special memories while watching them. And since you're going in mid-April, the show will be
Happily Ever After, which is hands down my favorite
nighttime spectacular.
If you have any questions in the future, please feel free to

Try the grey stuff, it's delicious,
