Hello. We have dinner reservations at Akershus at 820pm but want to watch the fireworks in epcot at 9pm. Do you think we will be able to see them from the restaurant? Also, is this a good alternative to Cinderella's Royal Table?

Hello Stephanie,

I'm guessing you have a princess or two traveling with you! Akershus is a wonderful restaurant with some delicious food in a regal setting. This is a fantastic alternative, if not better, than Cinderella's Royal Table. In my opinion, the food is slightly better at Akershus. You will not be able to see Illuminations from the restaurant. Obviously, the time it takes a family to eat at a table service restaurant can vary, but I tend to allow an hour to an hour and fifteen minutes for character dining. There is a chance you could be done, by 9, but I'd hate for you and your family to be rushed. There is a chance you would see the end of the show and some of the finale fireworks as you exit.

I hope it can all work out for you and that you have a fairy tale ending to your day in the park!
