Do I have to make dinner reservations?

    Hi Noemi!

There are two types of dining at Walt Disney World Resort:  Quick Service and Table Service.  Quick Service is like fast food at a local establishment.  You obviously don't need a reservation for any Quick Service location.  Table Service is like a full service restaurant, including buffets.

A long time ago, you could visit Walt Disney World and have a good chance of eating in Table Service restaurants without a reservation.  Unfortunately, for most of the year, that is no longer the case.  In fact, during some times of the years, the Table Service restaurants will actually put signs out saying that no walk-ups will be accommodated.

My recommendation is to absolutely make Table Service reservations for any theme park restaurants you are interested in.  For ones in the resorts, I think it depends on how popular they are.  The more popular ones definitely require a reservation; for others, it's pretty easy to walk-up as long as your party is not too large.
