    If I make a dinner reservation and state at the bottom that it is for an anniversary, what does the restaurant do for you.

    Hi Donna!

    When you note on your reservation that you are celebrating an anniversary or special occasion, it lets the staff know to spread a little extra 'pixie dust' if you will.  We were surprised with a special dessert presentation on our wedding anniversary at California Grill, and many "Happy Anniversary" greetings from the staff.

    I always say to not expect these things, but if you let the staff know, they'll have the knowledge to be able to do something special.  It's a nice surprise all around!
