Hiya Shelby,
Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question! I just love visiting Magic Kingdom on days when
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is happening. In my experience, those are some of the spook-tacularly best times to visit—the lines feel shorter, dining reservations are a bit easier to scare up, and the crowds are a little lighter. Plus, you’ll still get to enjoy
Magic Kingdom all dressed in its pumpkin-y best, with Main Street glowing in fall colors and Mickey jack-o’-lanterns smiling down at you. Shelby, you’re in for quite a treat (no tricks here)!
Now, let’s creep right into your question. Since you’re not attending the Halloween party, you can absolutely still enjoy your dining reservation. Restaurants will continue seating until the park closes to day guests, which on party nights is 6:00 PM. After your meal at the delightful
Crystal Palace, Cast Members will gently check for party wristbands around the park. Guests without one will be kindly asked to head out so that those attending the event can enjoy their frightfully fun evening. If you happen to have a
Park Hopper ticket, that’s the perfect time to fly off to another park and keep the magic going.
Before you go, here’s one last Halloween treat tip: be sure to stop by the Kernel Kitchen inside the
Confectionery on Main Street. Here you can conjure up your own custom popcorn creation with spooky-good toppings. It’s not only delicious but big enough to share with the whole family—beware, you might not want to share once you taste it!
Shelby, I hope this helps you feel prepared for your boo-tiful day in Magic Kingdom. If any other questions pop up while you’re brewing your plans, don’t hesitate to visit us again.
See ya real soon,
Christina
