If I make a dinner reservation at a park I plan to hop into, am I guaranteed entry? We want to go to Disney Studios then hop to Magic Kingdom for dinner. I’m worried we won’t get in if the park is full.

Hi Laura! Your question tells me that you are thinking like a true Disney vacation planner! I’m glad you came to planDisney today!

A Disney Dining reservation does not guarantee a Guest entry into a park in the event of a park closure due to capacity. That being said, based on your early December arrival date, I don’t think you should have too much concern regarding park closures due to capacity. Typically, park closures occur during the highest peak periods at the Walt Disney World Resort. The most frequent time that park closures have occurred due to capacity is during the very busy week between Christmas and New Year’s.

Given your arrival date, I don’t think you’ve got too much to worry about! So, as my friends Timon and Pumbaa would say, “Hakuna Matata, Laura!” Enjoy your day (and dining reservation) at Magic Kingdom Park!

    Happy Planning!
