Mom and Daughter at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort Room

    We have a dinner reservation at 1900 park fare at 8pm. Will we be able to see the water parade or wishes fireworks from the resort if we are not staying at the hotel?

    HI Stephanie,

    You are absolutely welcome to watch both the Electrical Water Pageant and Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from the Grand Floridian, even if you aren't staying there as a guest. 

    You'll want to check what time the Magic Kingdom fireworks are scheduled for by clicking on the Magic Kingdom calendar. It is currently available through July 2012; when you find the date you are dining at 1900 Park Fare, just click on it to give you the details of the day. 

    If the fireworks are scheduled for 10:00 pm, you will have no problem seeing them.  My favorite place to watch them is right outside the counter service restaurant Gasparilla Grill & Games at the Grand Floridian where the boat marina is located.  The view is perfect, and there usually isn't an large crowd.     The Electrical Water Pageant goes by the Grand Floridian at 9:15 pm; just grab a spot anywhere along the beach of the Seven Seas Lagoon or even the boat launch area.  Just an fyi, the timing of finishing your meal and the parade are quite close, however.
