Hi , We have a dinner reservation at Ohana . Our dinner should end around the same time as MK is closing. Does the TTC offer a bus to AKL or do we have to take the monorail back to MK ( and fight the crowds) to get back to our lodge. Thanks!

    Hi Peter,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question about transportation options at my favourite Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge

Once you finish your dinner at ‘Ohana (yum!) your only complimentary resort transportation option back to your resort hotel is to take a bus from Magic Kingdom Park. There is no Walt Disney World Resort bus service between the Transportation & Ticket Center and your Resort hotel.

If you want to avoid the long lines and crowds that may be there at Park closing, I highly recommend using the Minnie Van Service in order to get back to the Lodge. Although this option isn’t complimentary, those few extra dollars will not only save you the potential headache of dealing with crowds, it will also save you a lot of time by not requiring you to go to Magic Kingdom Park and then switch to a bus back home.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
