Hi there, Kei! I’m glad that you came to planDisney with your great question. I’m happy to help!
On “party nights,” Magic Kingdom Park closes at 6:00 PM for non-party Guests. This includes parties such as
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Beginning at 6:00 PM, Cast Members will direct non-party Guests to the park exit. This includes scanning Guest MagicBands and tickets. Unfortunately, with the park closing at 6:00 PM, you won’t be able to attend the 6:45 PM dining reservation at Magic Kingdom Park. To attend a dining reservation at that time you would need a ticket for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.
Kei, you might want to consider making your dining reservation for a time before 6:00 PM. Even a reservation later in the 5:00 PM hour will be OK. Your dining reservation must be before 6:00 PM. You might also consider making a dining reservation at one of the delicious Disney Dining locations along the Monorail loop! This includes restaurants located within Disney’s Contemporary Resort, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa! You can find great dining options in all these resort hotels including some of my favorites –
California Grill,
‘Ohana, and
1900 Park Fare!
Kei, if by chance you have
Park Hopper tickets, you can even consider beginning your Disney day at Magic Kingdom Park and then “hopping” to another park such as EPCOT or Disney’s Hollywood Studios for a dinner reservation followed by nighttime fun at that park!
Dreams do come true!
