Hey there, Matt, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question. Your question about a Disney dinner has me already planning my next Disney Vacation. In my opinion, Disney Dining is the best Walt Disney World Resort attraction!
Matt, I spoke with a Disney World Cast Member and confirmed that because
Magic Kingdom Park officially closes at 6 p.m. EST to day Guests, you would not be able to make your dining reservation. Once the Theme Park closes at 6 p.m. EST, only
Mickey’s Not-so-Scary Halloween Party Guests will be allowed to remain in the Theme Park. Since Disney dinner is always a priority, I suggest modifying your dining reservation to earlier in the evening. If you are unable to modify your reservation, there are still a few dinner options available to you. Since you will be exiting Magic Kingdom Park, you could easily hop to a monorail resort (i.e.
Disney’s Contemporary Resort,
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort,
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa), for dinner. Persistence is crucial in this space. So if you are unable to find desired reservations on your first look, I recommend checking back daily to see if new availability opens up. In my experience, dining reservations become more readily available as I approach my arrival date.
I hope this helps, Matt! If you have more questions while planning your Disney Vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
