Is a dinner reservation or hotel stay reservation required to walk onto the grounds of one of the hotels?

    Hi Jessica! Welcome to planDisney!

It looks like you are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort right now! If that’s the case, I must admit that I am a little (or a lot) jealous. I am currently dreaming of warmer Florida weather, tasty Disney treats, and gazing upon Cinderella Castle. There’s nowhere else I’d rather be with my family right now! I hope you are having the BEST time!

With the current precautions in place to keep crowd levels down, Disney is asking that only Guests with room reservations, dining reservations, or mobile orders via the My Disney Experience mobile app (this is on a case by case basis) be admitted to each Disney Resort hotel property. If you have any of these and visit a Disney Resort hotel, be prepared to show proof and photo identification before you enter the property. On a recent visit, my family and had breakfast reservations at Topolino’s Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera and the Cast Member at the entrance to Disney’s Riviera Resort simply scanned my MagicBand to verify our dining reservation. It was super easy!

Make sure to take a moment to look over all the current safety measures in place at the theme parks and Disney Resort hotels. Disney has done an amazing job of keeping the magic alive while also prioritizing Guest and Cast Member safety!

Enjoy your vacation, Jessica! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
