Hi there, Stephanie, and welcome to planDisney!
Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my favorite spots to enjoy a nice meal with my family. Specifically, I would give anything to eat seafood lakeside at
Narcoosee’s or hug Princess Tiana and Cinderella at
1900 Park Fare. My family often drives to the various Resort hotels because we are locals. I’m more than happy to share what I know with you.
Parking at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels are always at the discretion of the parking attendant because hotel parking needs to be available for those staying at the hotel. With that being said, I have rarely been turned away at the gate, especially when I can show that I have an advanced dining reservation.
There have been times when I’ve been given a 3-hour time limit card that I placed in my car’s windshield. But sometimes, I’m simply told to park my vehicle with no further specifications. The number one thing is that you don’t want to leave your car in the parking lot and you’re not at the Resort. For example, if before or after dinner, you go to Magic Kingdom Park, your vehicle is at risk of being towed.
AN EXTRA GEM: Last weekend, I got up close and personal with the gingerbread house, and it is truly majestic. My favorite details were the tiny character-themed Christmas trees. And the smell of the gingerbread tickled my senses. You can queue up and buy gingerbread cookies and treats that come from within the house.
Stephanie, if you have additional questions about your upcoming visit,
give us a holler here at planDisney. Happy holidays!
Magic always,
LeAndra
