Hi Suzanne,
If you are a guest staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, Disney makes it easy to get around Walt Disney World without a rental car using
Disney's Complimentary Resort Transportation. With so many amazing restaurants and dining experiences located at Walt Disney World Resort hotels, I don't blame you for wanting to visit a few during your upcoming trip.
While generally there is no bus or shuttle service running between Walt Disney World Resort hotels (with the exception of "sister Resorts", such as Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village), in most cases there will still be a way for you to transfer between Resort hotels via transfers at any Walt Disney World Theme Park or Disney Springs. In addition, it is also possible to transfer directly between some Walt Disney World Resort hotels using either the monorail or Disney boat transportation.
The best way to find the most direct and convenient route of travel using Disney's complimentary transportation is to use the "Get Directions" feature on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. This GPS-enabled tool will provide a complete set of directions between any two locations on Walt Disney World property, calculating your estimated arrival time based on the most convenient transportation options available at that time.
Another great option is to take
Disney's Minnie Van service current available at select Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Note there is a fee for this on demand direct transportation service.
Bon Appetit, and happy travels Suzanne!
Trish
