Hi Denise!
Chef Mickey's is my son's favorite pick for character dining. We love to see the classic characters, plus the food options are awesome for this picky family! Compliments to the chef!
Per the
Magic Kingdom calendar for 11/7/2019,
Happily Ever After is at 9:00PM. You cannot see the fireworks from the actual restaurant as it is on the opposite side of Disney's Contemporary Resort from
Magic Kingdom Park. There is a viewing area on the 4th floor, the same floor as Chef Mickey's, so when you are finished with your meal, you can head on over to the outdoor viewing area to catch this nighttime spectacular.
There aren't any buses that go from one Resort hotel to another Resort hotel. To get from
Disney's Contemporary Resort to
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, you can take a stroll along the walkway from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park that you'll find starts in the parking lot and goes past the parking lot guard gate and then hop on a Disney's All-Star Movies Resort bus at the Magic Kingdom Park bus depot. The walk is about 10-15 minutes. Another option is riding the monorail from Disney's Contemporary Resort to Magic Kingdom Park and then catching a bus from Magic Kingdom Park to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
