I have a dinner reservation at Chef Mickeys. Also will be in Magic Kingdom that day. How do I walk or catch the monorail from MK to Contemporary Resort?

Hi, Francine!  It's great to see you back here at planDisney!

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be dining at Chef Mickey's during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  The first time my husband and I brought our kids to Walt Disney World Resort, we had breakfast at Chef Mickey's, and it quickly became a family favorite.  The atmosphere at Chef Mickey's is so lively and fun!  You're going to have a blast visiting with Mickey and his friends while you enjoy a delicious dinner.

Dining at Chef Mickey's on the day that you plan to visit Magic Kingdom Park is a great idea.  Chef Mickey's location at Disney's Contemporary Resort is just a quick walk or monorail ride from the Magic Kingdom Park gates.  If you wish to walk the short distance to Disney's Contemporary Resort, you'll want to head off to your left as you exit the theme park to find the walking path.  If you'd prefer to rest your feet a bit, you can head off to the right toward the monorail station as you leave the park.  Disney's Contemporary Resort will be the first stop after you board the monorail at Magic Kingdom Park.  If you have trouble finding your way to the walking path or monorail station, simply ask a Cast Member and they'll be happy to point you in the right direction.

Francine, I hope your dinner at Chef Mickey's is yummy and that you make lots of magical memories during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  If we can help you with anything else, please don't hesitate to ask.  My fellow panelists and I are all ears!

    See ya real soon!
