I have a dinner reservation for California Grill at a time after the fireworks. Am I able to come earlier to view the fireworks from the observation deck?

Hi there Christopher, and welcome to planDisney!

You must be so excited that your winter getaway is just around the corner, and I'm thrilled to hear you'll be enjoying one of my favorite dining experiences in all of Walt Disney World. Dinner at the California Grill is like stepping into a whole new world. The views are shining, shimmering, splendid, and all of your culinary wishes will be granted with the new 50th-anniversary celebration menu.

With your dining reservation, you are eligible to view Magic Kingdom Park fireworks from the observation deck, even if your meal doesn't coincide with showtimes. Just before Disney Enchantment illuminates the night sky, stop by the check-in desk on the 2nd floor of Disney’s Contemporary Resort. A Cast Member will then escort you up to the 15th floor in an elevator exclusively for California Grill Guests. Depending on the time of your reservation, you may linger on the observation deck after fireworks or return to explore the main concourse of the resort before your official check-in time.

I hope this is helpful, Christopher. Best wishes for an enchanting evening at one of Walt Disney World's premier signature restaurants. If there's anything else we at planDisney can do before your adventure begins, feel free to reach out again. You ain't never had a friend like me!

    Happy holidays,
    Betsy
