We have a dinner reservation at 9:20 @ California Grill (we will have parked at MK earlier that day). I would like to know, can we park at the Contemporary Resort for the dinner (and some rides at MK) or do we have to park in the MK parking lot again? Thx!

You're going to love California Grill, Monique; it's a great spot to enjoy a scrumptious meal with an unmatched view!  If you were visiting the Contemporary just for dinner, you'd be permitted to park your car there.  The trouble arises when you throw in that you plan to return to the Magic Kingdom after your meal.  In that case, you would not be permitted to leave your car parked at the Contemporary.  Here's the thing, though: if you'll be at Magic Kingdom all day--only leaving briefly for your dinner at California Grill--there is no need to move your car in the first place.  The Contemporary Resort is a quick monorail ride (or walk) away from the Magic Kingdom.  It would be much quicker just to walk there than it would be to travel back to the Ticket and Transportation Center to move your car over to the Contemporary.  My advice would be to park your car, spend a magical day and night in the park--departing briefly for dinner--before heading back to your car at the very end of the night.  I think you'll find that the most convenient option.  Enjoy!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
