    I have a dinner reservation at 6:15 at California Grill in May 2022. The park closes at 10pm. I think the fireworks start at 9pm. Can my family watch the fireworks from the observation deck outside after our dinner? Or will we have to leave after dinner?

    Hello Mark!

    My son and I love dining at the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort! I have some fantastic news for you! If you are dining at the California Grill for dinner and you complete your meal before Disney Enchantment is scheduled to begin, you can go back up to watch this brand-new nighttime firework spectacular with your dinner receipt for that evening. Just show your dinner receipt to the Cast Member running the special California Grill elevator, and they will let you ride up to watch Disney Enchantment on the observation deck of Disney's Contemporary Resort. Dinner at California Grill can take between 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hours, so you could feasibly finish dinner between 7:45 pm to 8:45 pm, which would be perfect timing to secure your spot on the observation deck. If you finish your dinner early, here are some ideas to help you pass the time while you are waiting for Disney Enchantment to begin:

    1. Take a Monorail ride on the Resort Loop just for the fun of it
    2. Explore the great shops on the fourth floor of the Contemporary Resort
    3. Take a walk to the Contemporary Marina and have a look around
