I have a dinner reservation for the blue Bayou next week. I was able to make that reservation online for six guests, but our party is actually seven people. Is there a way that I can adjust that prior to showing up with one extra person?

    Hey there, Kristin!

I’m so glad you took your question all the way down to planDisney before goin’ down to Blue Bayou! This creole girl has loved the Blue Bayou Restaurant since she was a tiny Mouseketeer. Ah, the quiet calm elegance, the dim flickering lighting-bug style lights, the languid smell of water as the Pirates of the Caribbean barges slowly cruise along, and of course, the delightful tastes of the Big Easy artfully adorning your plate. Kristin I’m so envious that your cast of characters are set to dine there next week, I’ve just asked my husband to start planning our next visit!

Kristin, have you downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App yet? This is what you’ll need to scan your theme park tickets upon entry, and it also is where you can view and modify dining reservations. In the app, you would first need to click on the icon of three horizontal lines in the lower right corner. Then, choose “Future Plans” on the left side. From there, you should see all of your theme park and dining reservations. Click on your Blue Bayou reservation , and in the center of the screen, you should see an icon that looks like a pencil that says “Modify”. At the top of the next page, you can modify your party size using the plus or minus signs. If there is availability for your new party size, you should then be able to click on the available time, then scroll to the bottom to agree to the Guest Policies and then click on the big green “Book Now” button.

You can also modify your dining reservation online by hovering over the words “My Disneyland” in the top right corner, then scrolling down to “My Plans” where your reservation should pop up for you to review and modify!

I hope you found this information helpful, Kristin. Feel free to come back and visit me here if you come across any more questions for your plans to visit The Happiest Place On Earth. I’m always excited to share what I know to help make your visit practically perfect in every way!
