    We have dinner res. at Sci Fi for 4:40 pm Dec. 15. Is that early enough to still alllow us to get seating for Fantasmic? Not sure how long it takes to eat there and get to Fantasmic .There were no other times available other than eating in mid afternoon

    Hi!!  4:40 is a great time to eat and still have plenty of time to get to the show.  There generally are two shows one at 7:30 and I believe 9:00 pm.  I was at Hollywood Studios last week and Fantasmic was showing on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.  I was looking at the calendar and the 15th is a Wednesday.  I would recommend calling  the dining reservation line the number is 1-407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463) and ask if the Fantasmic will be adding shows during the holiday season.  I would recommend getting to the show about an hour before just to secure seating.  It fills up fast.  If you are able I would recommend the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melrose's.  I hope you have a fabulous visit!!!
