I have dinner res at Ohana on 11/10/13 and was thinking about stopping at the Grand Floridian afterwards to check out the gingerbread house? Will it be up on the 10th? Just hop on the monorail to get there from Poly?

Hi Carrie!  The Gingerbread House is typically completed by mid-November.  As you can imagine, it takes several days to construct the masterpiece!  We haven't received the date on when it will officially open this year but I have a feeling it will be in the construction stage on 11/10.  It's still worth a visit though!  The easiest way to get to the Grand Floridian from the Polynesian would be to hop on the monorail and get off at the next stop.  Or, if you are super full from your delicious meal at 'Ohana, there is a walking path you can take.  Have a fabulous vacation!
