We have dinner res. at Chef Mickey planning on spending the day at MK. best and quickest way to get to the hotel? After we eat can we get a bus to PORS or do we need to go to a park then to our hotel?

Hello, Nicole.  Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

It's very easy to get from Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort for your dinner reservation at Chef Mickey's.  When you exit the park, you are going to look for signs directing you to the the monorail. You will walk down toward the water and then take a right and head up the ramp to hop on board. The first stop after Magic Kingdom is Disney's Contemporary Resort, it is a very short ride.  After your meal, you will need to head back to Magic Kingdom to catch a bus back to your resort.  You can either take the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom or walk to the Magic Kingdom bus stops.  If it's not too late, I suggest walking.  It's less than a ten minute walk and the monorail will make several stops before returning to the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps.  If you have any other questions, please do come back and ask.   Have a magical day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
