Hello, Yare! Welcome to planDisney. It's lovely to have you stop by with your question.
I have great news for you and your sailing crew. Your dinner will not overlap with Disney Cruise Line's main entertainment offerings. Such offerings will be scheduled in a way that guests will be available to attend no matter their dinner seating. This includes deck parties,
Pirate Night fireworks, and shows in the
Walt Disney Theatre.
For musical-style shows and other entertainment in the Walt Disney Theatre, there are typically two shows offered each night. Guests with the
second seating for dinner will be invited to attend the first show, which will end before the second dinner seating. It works out well! I find that as my children have gotten older, the second seating for dinner is my preference. We don't feel like we are missing out on any of the fun, and the evenings feel a bit more leisurely for me.
I hope that you find your arrangement to work out well for your sailing crew too. With all of the entertainment offered onboard, there will never be a dull moment. To keep track of all of the activities, please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before you board the ship. You'll use this app to access the Daily Activity Schedule, deck plans, menus, and more.
Have a magical time!
