Hi, do you have any dinner dining recommendations for the day we check in to our resort after a long day's travel? We're staying at the Port Orleans French Quarters, and can't use our park tickets just yet. Looking for somewhere fairly close and quiet. Thx

    Hi Valerie,

After a long day's travel, it really is a good idea to enjoy a relaxing evening at or near your resort. Port Orleans French Quarter is very charming!

For a quiet atmosphere near your resort, I would walk (or boat) over to Port Orleans Riverside for dinner at Boatwright's Dining Hall. It's a quiet, table-service restaurant offering southern-style eats.

You could also take the Sassagoula Riverboat to Downtown Disney, however this area is usually very busy.
