Hello! What's dinner like on December 24th on Disney cruises? And on the night of December 31st? Is there anything special on the menu? Thank you very much!

    Hello Roberta!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for sailing over with your Disney Cruise Line question.

Dining on a Disney Cruise is an event, so I don't blame you for wondering what to expect during holiday sailings! Menus will always vary by ship and feature different items depending on the dining room and which night of your cruise it is. But I can say that in years past there have been special "Happy Holiday" and "Happy New Year" menus on the evenings before Christmas or New Year's Day. I wouldn't be surprised to see menus that day include holiday-themed specialty cocktails, festive appetizers, and holiday favorites like ham, turkey, or a roast. I would watch for a featured dessert, too!

You can get a sneak peek of the menus each evening when you're on the ship by checking the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App. It's not unusual for me to pick out my future dessert while I'm still eating breakfast! Everyone loves a good happy thought, right?

Very Merrytime Cruises always come with plenty of cheer and holiday fun! Everyone will be wearing their favorite holiday outfits, so make sure to pack yours. There will also be plenty of crafts, special entertainment like the tree lightning, and maybe even a visit with Santa! It will be "snow" much fun!

I hope you're planning to be on one of these festive sailings, Roberta! It's the perfect way to start a new year of magic.

    Keep moving forward!
