How does dining for a 1 year old work? We will be visiting for my sons first birthday and want to know if we need to budget for kids meals.

    Hi Kathryn,

How fun to be celebrating your son's first birthday at the most magical place on earth! I have great news for you: Children under 3 can eat free with a paying adult. If you visit an all-you-care-to-eat buffet, your son can have his own plate of food for no extra charge. If you visit a restaurant that is either a regular table service or quick service option, he can share your meal for no additional charge. If it turns out that he would enjoy something on the menu that is different from what you want, you can pay out-of-pocket for his meal. The kids meals are extremely reasonable. Since your little guy is only 1, I doubt that you will be needing to buy him his own special meal.

I hope this helps and that you have a wonderful vacation. Please let me know I can assist you further,
