It's nice to see you back at planDisney, Kristine!
One of my favorite days of Walt Disney World vacation planning is that magical date when you can
finally book advance dining reservations. How exciting that your 60-day window will officially be here next week! Do you have your top picks all lined up yet? If you don't have it on your list, I suggest giving
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' at Disney Springs a try. I've recently gotten to enjoy both dinner and brunch at the restaurant and both meals were amazing (and be sure to try the
Thigh High Chicken Biscuits, if you go –– they were perfection!).
When it comes to split stays, each part of your stay is a completely separate reservation. Unfortunately, this means that each of those reservations will also have a separate
60-day booking window for advance dining reservations. My family also chooses to do a lot of split stays (who can pick just one Resort, right?!) and I totally get how frustrating it can be when you can't start booking your reservations all at once, especially when it might be easier to find a hard-to-get table the farther out you can book. The good news, though, is that dining availability changes all the time. Lately, I've even had great luck finding tables 72-24 hours in advance. If something isn't available when either of your 60-day windows open, be sure to keep checking back –– you might be surprised what pops up when you least expect it!
Thanks for bringing another question to planDisney, Kristine. No matter where you end up eating, I hope your upcoming visit is filled with delicious dishes from beginning to end!
See Ya Real Soon,
Amy
