    When dining at WDW, are tips included if you have a dining plan? If not, what is considered an appropriate percentage for a tip? Thank you

    Hi Lisa, 

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel for assistance with your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! 

    Gratuities are not included with the Disney Dining Plan, so you will want to budget accordingly. If you are dining with a party of 6 or more people, an automatic 18% gratuity charge will be added to your bill. This percentage is an industry standard, and is what our family generally tips (regardless of how many people are dining). However, for exceptional service, we will leave more. 

    I hope this helps. Be sure to make all of your Advance Dining Reservations in order to take full advantage of your Disney Dining Plan.
