What are the dining times for main dining in the Disney Dream Castaway?

    Ahoy, Jeanette!

Thanks for cruising in to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

Dining on a Disney Cruise Line vacation is second-to-none, and all of your meals are included with your cruise fare! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, even all-you-care-to-enjoy soft-serve ice cream - it's included.

Each evening, you'll get to enjoy dinner in one of the ship's three themed Main Dining restaurants. Disney Cruise Line features Rotational Dining, so your servers will rotate with you each evening. You'll get to dine in each venue at least once during your sailing. For dinner each evening, guests can choose from Main Seating (5:45pm) or Second Seating (8:15pm). Guests with Main Seating will enjoy an early meal, followed by the evening's entertainment, while those with Second Seating will see the show first, followed by dinner.

When our kids were young, we preferred Main Seating, because they were accustomed to eating at an earlier hour. Now that we have teenagers, we prefer Second Seating. That being said, we would really be happy with either seating, as long as we got to enjoy all of the delicious food! Did you know Disney Cruise Line also features complimentary 24-Hour Room Service? Moms Panel Tip: while you may not see Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bars on the Room Service menu, you can get them - just ask!

I hope this helps with your planning, and you're soon sailing away on the gorgeous Disney Dream with Captain Mickey and his crew! - Diane W.
