Are there dining restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot that do not serve shellfish?

    Bonjour Christine,

My husband has a severe shellfish allergy, so dining out can sometimes be a challenge in seafood-heavy restaurants. I’m happy to report, however, that we’ve never had a problem at a Walt Disney World Resort dining location, and we’ve dined in almost all of them! As my friend Crystal said in her response to your previous question about nut allergies, Disney does a great job of handling special dietary requests. So, if your wish to avoid shellfish stems from an allergy or intolerance, you don’t need to stick to restaurants that don’t have any on the menu for safety reasons.

I would recommend checking out the menu for each dining location in order to see whether you wish to dine there, before making your reservation. Some of our favourite locations that, from what I remember, don’t serve any shellfish at all are Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park and Garden Grill Restaurant and Rose & Crown Dining Room at Epcot.

But, that being said, those are by no means your only shellfish-free options! In fact, if your party has several different kinds of allergies, I would recommend finding a restaurant that has a wide variety of “à la carte” options for you to enjoy. You’ll be able to find an option for everyone more easily that way.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
