Welcome back to planDisney, Amanda!
Walt Disney World Resort is a great place to celebrate America's birthday. A glance at last year's
Fourth of July Foodie Guide will give your taste buds a taste of the seasonal offerings they have to look forward to.
When it comes to table service dining at Walt Disney World Resort, Guests between the ages of three and nine are considered a child. Guests under the age of three eat for free at buffet and family-style dining locations like
Liberty Tree Tavern at Magic Kingdom Park. Guests under three are also welcome to share an adult's plate at traditional menu service locations like
Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria in EPCOT for no extra charge. A child over the age of nine can order food items off of the children's menu, though there may be an upcharge.
As the mom of a tween, I understand the importance and financial implications of your question. We recently enjoyed a lovely breakfast with Mickey and friends at
Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera. My daughter was ten, which meant we paid the adult price for her meal, but she really wanted the Mickey Waffle Dippers on the children's menu. The chef prepared her a larger portion of this breakfast masterpiece and she was one happy dipper!
I hope this information helps you prepare for your upcoming visit, Amanda. Advance reservations for dining can be made
online 60 days in advance - be sure to mark your Disney dining day(s) in your calendar!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
