    Ruanne from MI Asked

I see that dining reservations typically are made 60 days out from first day of arrival. On the Disney Experience App it shows I can book 66 days ahead (My stay is 6 nights). Could you please confirm the timeframe for booking dining reservations? Thanks!

    Hi RuAnne,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for reaching out to us with your question about Advanced Dining Reservations.  I am so glad to see you are planning a visit for this January, what a great way to start off the new year!

Advanced Dining Reservations can be made online up to 60 days in advance starting at 6:00 am EST.  If you have a Walt Disney World Resort Vacation Package, or a Resort Hotel Room-Only stay, you will be able to make your Advanced Dining Reservations at the 60 day window for the length of your stay.  This means that at the 60 day mark, you will be able to book all of your Advanced Dining Reservations on the same day.  What I like to do is book the more difficult to find reservations first when the window opens, for later in the week to have the best chance of securing my reservations.  From there I work backward, filling in the rest of our dining.  This also makes it exciting, as we essentially save "the best" for last during our visit.

I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, RuAnne.  If you have any other questions as your vacation approaches, please come back and visit planDisney again, we are always happy to help.
