I have dining reservations at T-Rex on Friday, Sept. 17th. I called today to switch to Tuesday, Sept. 21st at 8:30pm as all the parks seem to close at 7pm. There is nothing available. The agent suggested booking the day of. Do they normally hold seats?

    Hi Margaret!

Dining reservations can be a tricky thing sometimes!  I am personally trying to get into a restaurant that is currently booked for our upcoming trip, so I completely understand your situation!

The way I understand it, seats aren't held for day of reservations.  There are a certain amount that they set aside for Advance Dining Reservations, and the rest are designated for walk-ups.  Many times, guests re-tool their plans and end up canceling reservations, and that leaves an opening.  Calling the day of is a good plan.  I also try calling a couple times a week or logging on to check availability here.

My motto, "try, try again!" and know I'll be right there trying with you!  Good luck!

    Have a magical vacation!
