What do we do if dining reservations are at the same time as our LL times?

    Hello Ann,

Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. The next month will fly by, and soon you'll be joining in The World's Most Magical Celebration! You'll also be visiting during one of my favorite times of the year, the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. The park is decked out with character topiaries and colorful garden displays; it's truly stunning!

Whether you are selecting a Genie+ Lightning Lane or purchasing an Individual Lightning Lane, you do have some control over what times you choose, so you shouldn't ever find yourself with a Lightning Lane reservation at the same time as one of your dining reservations.

While you don't get to choose your Lightning Lane times, you will know the time for the next available Lightning Lane on any given attraction. If it happens to be during a time when you have plans for dinner, simply don't select it. Chances are, if you wait a few minutes you'll be able to get a later time slot that will fit into your plans.

When you purchase an Individual Lightning Lane you will get to select your time frame if there are multiple times available. In that instance you'll be able to select something that falls before or after your dining reservation.

You do want to be careful when you are making your Lightning Lane selections. If you show up a couple of minutes after your return time window has ended, cast member will usually be able to let you hop into the Lightning Lane. However, if you are more than a couple of minutes late, they won't be able to help you. You do have a full hour to check in at a Lightning Lane, so I think you should be fine.

Hope this helps. Have a magical vacation!
