Hi Pam,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us.
It sounds like you are the organizer of these groups - I first salute you for taking on this monumental task! If you have connected your group members through your
My Disney Experience Account, you should be able to make one reservation for the same dining time. I just checked the
Dining Reservation system and it currently has the option of making a dining reservation online for up to 49 guests. If you have 50 or more guests, you will need to call to speak to a cast member in Dining at 407-939-1947.
So here is how the reservation system works. For example, I have eight people listed on my Family and Friends list in My Disney Experience Account. When I make a dining reservation, I can select all eight of those names. If your other group members are not listed in your My Family and Friends List, you will need to add them. Once everyone is listed, you can easily manage plans for each guest, including making dining reservations.
If, however, you want to reserve different dining times for each group, you will need to make separate reservations for each group. When doing so, be sure to select the person who will manage the reservation for each group. I was managing plans for several groups once and forgot to change my name as the person managing the dining reservations. I had to cancel and re-book all of those reservations because I was not dining with each group.
Remember that if your groups are dining at a restaurant in a theme park, each person will need valid theme park admission. Also, do not forget that an automatic gratuity is added for parties of six or more.
I hope this helps!
