Jambo, Carol! I bet you are counting the days until your upcoming Walt Disney World adventure.
I'm so excited that you chose to dine at
Sanaa - it is a truly unique dining experience, and one of my favorite places to eat in Walt Disney World. Not only is the food delicious, but the view of the Sunset Savannah is picture perfect. Although the African and Indian inspired cuisine at Sanaa could be considered exotic by some palates, even the picky eaters in my family enjoy this restaurant. The menu is designed so that there is something for everyone. My favorite dishes are the Butter Chicken and the Spicy Durban Shrimp. Yum!
With so much to explore at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village, arriving in advance of your reservation is a great idea. As a day guest, complimentary standard
parking is available to you while you enjoy dining, shopping, and recreation options - including animal viewing - at the resort. If you prefer, valet parking is also available.
Once your car is parked, you are free to explore the resort! I recommend arriving forty-five minutes to an hour in advance of your reservation, which should give you plenty of time to park, leisurely observe the animals, shop, and check-in for your meal. Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village is home to two savannas - Sunset and Pembe. Upon arrival in the main lobby of the resort, use the doors on the first floor and walk outside to view the Sunset Savanna. Here you will find a public viewing area staffed by knowledgeable Cast Members who can share information about the wildlife you are observing. The Pembe Savanna is located adjacent to the
Samawati Springs Pool. While swimming in the pool is limited to resort guests only, you may use the paths around the pool to view the surrounding savanna.
Kwaheri! Have a magical visit, Carol!
