If I make dining reservations that require a credit card hold, can it be cancelled within a certain amount of time without the card being charged?”
Hi Shannon!
Disney's cancellation policy states that as long as you cancel within 24 hours of your reservation, your credit card will not be charged. If you do not show up or cancel less than 24 hours you will be charged $10 per a person(special dining experience will vary). If you are cancelling a prepaid location such as Cinderella's Royal Table, you will loose the entire amount if you do not give 24 hour notice. To cancel a reservation log on to your My Disney Experience account or call (407)WDW-CNCL.
Remember not all restaurants require a credit card to hold you reservation, but many of the popular ones, such as character meals, will require one.
The following requires a credit card when making a reservation:
Pre-Paid Locations Cinderella's Royal Table, Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show, Hoop De Doo Musical Review, Mickey's Backyard Barbeque
Credit Card Guarantee Locations: 1900 Park Fare, Akershus Royal Banquet Hall, Artist Point, California Grill, Cape May Cafe', Chef Mickey's, Citricos, The Crystal Palace, Flying Fish,Garden Grill, Hollywood and Vine, Jiko, Le Cellier, Narcoossee's, Ohana, Tusker House, Victoria and Albert's, Yachtsman Steakhouse, Be Our Guest
