Hi Chaneen!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Rainforest Cafe is so much fun. Did you know that it's sister-restaurant,
T-Rex in Disney Springs, is the only Dinosaur-themed location their brand has ever built? You're more than welcome to pop in and see the meteor shower show from their store, which happens about every 20 minutes.
Guests are allowed to enter any of Disney's Theme Parks, attraction queues, and dining locations up until the last possible minute of that day's schedule. If you do finish your meal a bit before the park's closing time, your party will be more than welcome in to
Disney's Animal Kingdom for one last ride. You might even be able to catch a show, as these sometimes start right at the parks listed closing time. Once the clock strikes Midnight, errr, 8:00 P.M., guests will no longer be allowed to enter the park.
If you do get in in the nick of time, you can enjoy yourself as
Disney's Bus Transportation will continue to operate until 2 hours after that day's scheduled closing time. I like to use this window of time for night photography, and Animal Kingdom has a lot of great photo spots.
In addition to attractions closing right at park closing time, most dining locations will also shutter at this time. Shops near the Tree of Life or the park's entrance, on the other hand, might stay open for up to a half hour after the closing time.
Pro Tip: Keep checking the
Park Hours calendar before your vacation. Sometimes these hours are magically extended!
I hope this helped with your park planning, Chaneen, and We'll See You Real Soon!
