Hiya Sarah and welcome to planDisney!
Advanced Dining Reservations are the star players of my Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I leave a lot of things during my vacation for pixie dust possibilities but my food is not one of them. It is with a nearly religious fervor that I am up with my coffee at the crack of dawn at the 60-day mark before my trips getting everything scheduled just so. Of course, you want to make sure you can get to that carefully curated reservation without a hitch. Let me offer my suggestion on how I would maneuver through this situation.
Currently, the
Park Hopper Option allows Guests to hop to their second park starting at 2 p.m. While you may not want to head to your next park quite that early, I definitely wouldn't wait until the last second before the park closes either. My number one suggestion would be to hop to the park of your dining reservation early enough to avoid mishaps. I'd say try to arrive at least an hour to an hour and a half beforehand. This way you can take in a few
attractions and be securely within your park to take in your tasty meal.
Sarah, speaking of food I do hope you're planning on visiting the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival during your visit in a couple of weeks. Those
Outdoor Kitchens don't require reservations and they boast a stunning array of treats showcasing the best the bountiful earth has to offer.
Happy planning!
Taylor
