Welcome to planDisney, Michele!
How exciting that you have dining reservations at
'Ohana. This Polynesian-themed restaurant has some of the tastiest food on property. Make sure you try the pineapple coconut bread pudding and 'Ohana noodles. Yum!
There are a few different ways to get to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort from
Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. Personally, I would take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then hop on the water taxi or the Monorail to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. This bus ride is about 15-20 minutes. The boat ride takes around 8 minutes and boats come typically every 8-12 minutes. The Monorail takes around 10-15 minutes.
Another option is to take the boat from your hotel to
Disney Springs and then take the bus to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The boat ride is a lovely 20-minute journey and the bus will take around 18 minutes or so (depending on traffic). You'll have to factor in the time it takes to wait for a bus too.
One final option (which is actually the fastest) is to pay for an Uber/Lyft. It's less magical and costs money, but if time is a factor you might want to take this option.
Here's a tip: Stop by
Trader Sam's Tiki Terrace after your meal for a delicious cocktail in a relaxing and fun setting.
I hope that's helpful, Michele! Thanks so much for choosing to be our Guest. Have a fantastic trip.
Mike
