Hi Anna, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I adore the Best Friends Breakfast Featuring Lilo & Stitch at
‘Ohana. The delicious breakfast platter (I could eat that pineapple coconut bread all day), the great music, and the character interactions all come together to make it one of those truly magical Walt Disney World experiences.
I’m not sure where you will be staying at Walt Disney World, but never fear! ‘Ohana means family, and family means nobody gets left behind or forgotten. There are usually early buses scheduled at each resort to accommodate those rise-and-shine dining reservations. Just talk to the friendly Cast Members at the front desk of your resort hotel, and they will help you determine the best way to get to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Anna, have you heard about the adorable
Minnie Van Service? This polka-dotted and pixie-dusted fleet of vehicles is operated by Lyft, and can transport Guests between sites on Walt Disney World’s property, and they do have car seats and booster seats available for your preschooler. The fee is currently $25 per trip, though that is subject to change at any time. I just wanted to be sure you were aware of this option, as it’s a fun and easy way to travel when you’re nervous about your arrival time.
I hope you and your little one have an absolute blast at ‘Ohana. When I was there last with my kiddos, there was the cutest parade around the restaurant! Marching around with Disney characters to the tune of “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” is one of those unforgettable moments – I cry happy tears EVERY time I hear that song now!
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
